I'm itching to give it a trim! Should look great after that though. :)Hildahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03572824685124656116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864116380117888144.post-42570108284651452822008-10-14T13:46:00.000+03:002008-10-14T13:46:00.000+03:00It really makes the house more interesting and coo...It really makes the house more interesting and cooler, but in middle/long terms the problems to the walls will be bigger than the beauty of this moment!

I liked to see the GOATS post and simply loved the post and photos about grape harvest.
I think you will fully understand why knowing Portuguese wines are not bad at all, not bad indeed ... funny, I've already tasted some fine australian wines and even a very strong scented and with fantastic taste red wine from New Zealand ... but never got the chance to buy or taste Greek wine ... how are they?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864116380117888144.post-81331219454735029842008-10-14T13:22:00.000+03:002008-10-14T13:22:00.000+03:00So love ivy and its wanderings! Kiwi

First of all, thanks for your messages! :-)

As far as Ivy is concerned, the owners of the house, might discover to their surprise that ivy digs tiny little thorns in the wall to support itself.

Besides the moisture from the environment coming in to the wall and destroying it from these tiny little holes, the plant is naturally damp (maybe this is why it is so cool in the summer :-D :-D :-D )

Ivies (is that the right plural?) are also dangerous because they attract snakes and mice, especially in Greece this can become a problem...

At least it's kind of good looking :-)

(In one of the houses we stayed in the UK there was a huge plant that had overflown its pot and was "attacking" the rest of the garden. So before i hack it down i told the landlord...he goes "Why do you want to cut the plant?" "Because it's taking up all the space and we do not know what lives under there...there could be snakes and mice and who knows what else" (short pause)........"We do not have snakes in this country" he had a point :-) )AAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10139788482239218535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864116380117888144.post-56026893670329901222008-10-14T11:21:00.000+03:002008-10-14T11:21:00.000+03:00ah. it's a pretty refreshing house to look at too....ah. it's a pretty refreshing house to look at too. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864116380117888144.post-79944590212467893982008-10-14T11:02:00.000+03:002008-10-14T11:02:00.000+03:00looks very prettylooks very prettymagiceyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848851692951192508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7864116380117888144.post-72151592792828146402008-10-14T10:20:00.000+03:002008-10-14T10:20:00.000+03:00Very beautiful picture.
