Here are some young Cretans going to school, located in a village: looks like fun, doesn't it?
The main building is not actually visible here; the visible building with the triangular roof is the original school building which is used by the kindergarteners.

Fun, but I guess a sidewalk would be more fun.

When my daughter comes from Oz to visit, with two little boys, she always asks me, "Why doesn't your village have any sidewalks??"
