Traffic

traffic hania chania

Bird's eye view of the traffic outside the Agora, Hania. Koum Kapi and the hills of Halepa can be seen in background.

Don't forget to take part in the quiz!

  1. Nice street scene. Traffic not so bad. The pavement looks smooth. You can't see the zebra crossing stripes very well, but oh well...
Jerusalem should have it so good.

  2. I've crossed it before, not too bad...Prospect Street here in Fredericton is worse, which is saying something for a small town!

  3. Dina - That pavement is smooth- in places it's marble and when it rains it's worth a broken bone to try and hurry - especially if you're wearing sandals.

  6. Oh well, traffic is traffic... :-)

PS I'll have to return for the quiz!

PPS We are far south of the Arctic circle, but it never gets quite dark anyhow.

  7. Interesting contrast the traffic in this post and the plant life of the previous post. There was a program about a Greek island where people live longer than the average. Part of the reason was all of the greens that they eat. Is Crete as verdant as it looks?
