SkyWatch Friday: the sun

Most SkyWatchers have shown us photographs of brilliant colourful skies, intermingled with heavy white cotton-flower clouds. I much appreciate the sight of such brilliant sky art work, but they are rare sights in my town. In the summer, the sky is always blue and the sun is always hot and yellow, pretty much like in this photo.

  7. HI! That looks like a true mediterannean sun! I spent my summer vacation some years ago a little east of Chania and I liked it very much. We also drove to the south coast, Paleochora, which was quite a journey because many roads were under construction, and suddenly we found us amongst goats and smelling mountain herbs on little stony roads. From our beach we could see a peninsula reminding us of a sleeping dog.
    AH that was so beautiful!
