The old minaret adjacent to St Nikolaos church is a perfect reminder of the way the East met the West in the town I made my home, Chania, Crete, Greece. The photographs I post all help to tell a part of a longer story that focuses on the town and its citizens, whether they are living there now, or have made their home in other parts of the world. As a newer resident, by writing about the town in this way, I am trying to put some order into the chaos that I seem to be confronted with.
Thank you for stopping at my blog this morning and for the comment there about the sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteI came to repay that visit with one of my own and was struck by two beauties eating ice cream. How neat they are and I can just about imagine how good that ice cream must be.
I like the photograph and the quality of it--the colors, skin tones, etc.
Your little temperature thingy says it is 30 degrees C where you live. It is 4:23 AM here in Brookville, Ohio and I have been up since 2:30. But I wanted to say that I put in our zip code and the temperature here now is 19 degrees C.
